DC Cooperative Stakeholders
Pledge Your Support
The stakeholders group has been invaluable in creating open spaces and entry points for connecting prior, persisting, and new co-op stakeholders with the broader DC area co-op ecosystem.
The group is a promising vehicle to continue bridging silos and amplifying stakeholder efforts as the need for all types of co-ops only grows in the region.
In our intention of growing a more diverse, inclusive, equitable, and representative co-op ecosystem in the DC area, it is vital to further distribute ownership of necessary responsibilities (as to be agreed upon) to keep the space alive and growing in the most mutually sustainable, resilient, and trusting way for all stakeholders.
Introducing more shared stake and accountability can better ensure equitable representation and livelihood of under-resourced or under-represented leadership capacity.
Thanks for the work you are doing Justin, please keep it up. I don’t know what you have in mind as Fiscal Sponsorship, what is it? I always want to do more, just don’t have the time.
